Strange Creatures

Strange Creatures is a 1 to 4 player couch co-op puzzle game where players are curious creatures that use wacky abilities to solve puzzles and escape the wicked lab.

Players will play as 1 of 4 different creatures:
Arlo the Cataconda
Ernest the Birdle
Rosie the Bull-frog
Scout the Lecko

Either by themselves or with their friends players will use each of these characters' unique abilities to escape the lab that they have been trapped in.

Strange Creatures is the thesis project I worked on for my masters degree. We had a team of 9 where I was 1 of 2 engineers. On this project I was responsible for implementing the mechanics of 2 of our 4 characters (Ernest and Rosie), all of the UI systems,  the implementation and design of the AI for the  collectible rats, implementing SFX, and creating various tools for the design team to use.
